Song Lyrics

Post by oscar » Fri Feb 23, 2018 10:24 am

I have been reading about ME for a few months just out of interest. Wondering if anything would actually happen to me, so I can prove it to myself. And it did yesterday.
Since the 70s I have been not only listening but also singing (in venues also) this song. It is a-capella (no music ,just singing) song by James Taylor, from the early 70s. Title "Lonesome Road", also "The Lonesome Road", that "the" is not the point. It is the lyrics. I remember distinctly and am absolutely positive that one line was not what it now says.
I went to Youtube to find the song original just to listen to it - and then in this part of the song something was wrong with the words.
What I remember:
Carry on
Nothing´s gonna save you from your troubled mind
It doesn't save you from your troubled mind
What it is now:
Carry on
Never mind feeling sorry for yourself
It doesn't save you from your troubled mind

Now, in my opinion that is a big difference. I am absolutely sure about this. I would like to know if anyone else remembers this particular song well?

Weird. Would like to hear from you all.

"The mind is everything. What you think, you become." Buddha.
